PACT updated with 4 new intentions for Assessment of regulatory needs

On 27 February 2024, ECHA’s Public Activities Coordination Tool (PACT) was updated with the following new intentions for Assessment of regulatory needs (ARN):

  1. Squalene-rich fraction obtained from vegetable oil deodorizer distillate by transesterification, crystallisation and vacuum distillation

  2. Soybean oil, deodorizer distillate

  3. Oils, vegetable, deodorizer distillates

  4. Glycerides, C16-18 and C18-unsatd., deodorizer distillates

This update brought the number of PACT ARN and Hazard assessment substances to 4818.
