KKDİK Regulation EK-II was published (in the official Gazette 30105) on 23 June 2017 and outlines the information and requirements for the preparation of SDS. This new regulation replaces the Regulation of Safety Data Sheets for Hazardous Substances and Mixtures (Zararlı Maddeler ve Karışımlara İlişkin Güvenlik Bilgi Formları Hakkında Yönetmelik) which was published (in the official Gazette 29204) on 13 December 2014.
With the publication of KKDIK, Safety Data Sheets in compliance with Regulation No. 29204 will be valid until 31 December 2023. During the transition period, an SDS can either be prepared per the Regulation of Safety Data Sheets for Hazardous Substances and Mixtures or per the KKDIK Regulation. After this date, it will be obligatory to prepare SDS in compliance with Regulation No. 30105 (KKDIK, Annex-2).
