Nominating the Russian Chemical Inventory

Are you ready for Russia’s inventory notification deadline on 1 August 2020?

In 2017, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) published a Technical Regulation called EAEU TR 041/2017 (commonly known as “Eurasia REACH”).To prepare for Eurasia REACH, Russia, as one of the EAEU’s member states, has launched the online system Governmental Industry Information Exchange Platform (GISP), to allow notifications to its chemical substance inventory.

Nominating substances to the inventory now will be beneficial as it will avoid substances being considered “new” once Eurasia REACH comes into force. New substances must be registered before import/manufacture and the data requirements are greater than existing substances. This webinar summarises what you need to know about inventory notification, how this can be done and by who.

What will this session cover?

  • Overview of EAEU TR 041/2017

  • Scope and exemptions

  • Information requirements
