PFAS – Can its Potentially Concerning Future Be Eradicated?

Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are a large family of man-made substances that have been gaining a great deal of attention globally owing to their persistence and toxicity to human and ecological health. There are in excess of 12,000 PFAS and these have a wide array of uses in a variety of products and industrial applications. Therefore, legislative action needs to be and, in some cases, already has been implemented to effectively manage PFAS and minimise their impacts. In this webinar, an overview of PFAS and regulatory activities relating to these substances will be discussed.

About the Presenter:

Jude Norman Arokianathar, Regulatory Consultant at Yordas Group.

Jude joined Yordas Group in 2021 as a Regulatory Consultant following a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and MSci in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He is part of the Product Stewardship team at Yordas Group, where his work focuses on global regulatory monitoring, and preparing regulatory fact sheets, summaries and substance lists for various clients.
