Sustainability and ESG Disclosure: How to develop a sustainable product portfolio

There are increasing requirements for disclosure of non-financial reporting relating to sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. In this presentation, we will discuss the difference between sustainability and ESG frameworks and standards and how those are linked to supply chains. We will look at emerging sustainability regulations in Europe and the US, and discuss how those may impact businesses globally. Finally, we will share our tips to develop a sustainable product portfolio to help achieve corporate sustainability targets, while remaining in compliance with emerging requirements.

About the presenter

Elisabeth Luther, Principal: Sustainability and Knowledge

Elisabeth Luther heads the Sustainability and Knowledge Transfer business unit at Yordas. She is an environmental regulatory specialist with more than a decade of experience in environmental regulations, project management, regulatory compliance and delivery of sustainability projects. She oversees the delivery of sustainability and stakeholder engagement projects, specifically in relation to life cycle assessment, ecolabels and environmental communication.

Angela Bischoff, Project Coordinator

Angela Bischoff has a background in environmental science and project management. As part of Yordas’ Sustainability and Knowledge Transfer team, she has coordinated several large scale projects, where she also supported stakeholder engagement and data analysis activities. She also supports the delivery of sustainability projects, including the development of sustainability training courses, ecolabels and life cycle assessment projects.
