2017 saw the publication of Annex VIII to CLP 1272/2008 which introduced new Poison Centre requirements throughout the EU. Under the new Annex VIII to the CLP Regulation, importers and downstream users placing hazardous mixtures on the market now have requirements to provide specific information on their mixtures to appointed bodies. The annex also introduces a new harmonised format for notifications. The information will be used by poison centres for emergency health response purposes in case of incidents involving these mixtures. The workshop will provide attendees with a background to EU poison centres and how to comply with Annex VII of CLP.

Please note that to complete this classroom you must have an understanding of CLP
