Yordas Representation:

Letizia Carramusa and Hayley Lewis will be attending, contributing our expertise and gaining knowledge to further our commitment to environmental stewardship and safety in the chemical industry.

Dr Letizia Carramusa, Senior Consultant - Toxicology, provides scientific consulting related to the evaluation, commissioning, and monitoring of toxicology studies for regulatory compliance as well as the preparation of LR dossiers for REACH using IUCLID. Before joining Yordas, Dr Carramusa had over 10 years of experience as a research scientist in international research institutions such as the Weizmann Institute and the Max Planck Institute. She holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology and worked on projects ranging from cancer research, to material science and cellular biophysics with a focus on the mechanisms of cell motility and adhesion-dependent mechanosensitivity. In addition to the academic training, she has got significant teaching experience holding a post-graduate certificate in education (PGCE) and a qualified teacher status (QTS) awarded in the UK.

Dr Hayley Lewis, Managing Consultant - Regulatory, has more than 9 years of experience as a development chemist and quality manager within the fine and speciality chemical sectors. She has extensive technical experience with pesticide chemistry, hazard evaluation, classification and management systems such as ISO 9001 quality systems. Hayley holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Physiology from Liverpool University. Here at Yordas, she is Biocide Services Lead handling leads and securing new opportunities whilst dealing with the project management and delivery of Biocidal product regulatory services. She supports several UK and EU BPR projects.
