Germany AwSV List of published WGK classifications updated

On 30-31 January 2024, the German Ordinance on Facilities Handling Substances That Are Hazardous to Water (AwSV) List of published water hazard class (WGK) classifications was updated. The following substances were newly assigned a WGK:

  1. 2-ethyl-N,N-bis(2-ethylhexyl)hexylamine

    WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

  2. Undecan-6-one

    WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

  3. Lithium zirconium phosphate

    WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

  4. 1,1-Dimethoxy-4-methyl-2-pentanamine

    WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)
