Germany AwSV List of published WGK classifications updated

On 6 November 2023, the German Ordinance on Facilities Handling Substances That Are Hazardous to Water (AwSV) List of published water hazard class (WGK) classifications was updated. The following substances were newly assigned a WGK:

  1. Reaction mass of diiron carbide, diiron phosphide and triiron phosphide

    WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

  2. 4,8-Dimethyl-2,5,7,10-tetraoxaundecane

    WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)
