PACT updated with 4 new intentions for Hazard assessments / 8 finalised Hazard assessments

On 12 June-14 August 2023, ECHA’s Public Activities Coordination Tool (PACT) was updated with the following new intentions for Hazard assessments:

1. [1,3(or 1,4)-phenylenebis(1-methylethylidene)]bis[tert-butyl] peroxide

2. Dioctyltin oxide

3. Butanoic acid, 4-amino-4-oxosulfo-, N-coco alkyl derivs., monosodium salts, compds. with triethanolamine

4. Reaction mass of p-t-butylphenyldiphenyl phosphate and bis(p-t-butylphenyl) phenyl phosphate

In addition, the PACT was updated with the following finalised Hazard assessments:

1. A mixture of: 4-(2,2,3-trimethylcyclopent-3-en-1-yl)-1-methyl-2-oxabicyclo[2.2.2]octane; 1-(2,2,3-trimethylcyclopent-3-en-1-yl)-5-methyl-6-oxabicyclo[3.2.1]octane; spiro[cyclohex-3-en-1-yl-[(4,5,6,6a-tetrahydro-3,6',6',6'a-tetramethyl)-1,3'(3'aH)-[2H]cyclopenta[b]furan]; spiro[cyclohex-3-en-1-yl-[4,5,6,6a-tetrahydro-4,6',6',6'a-tetramethyl)-1,3'(3'aH)-[2H]cyclopenta[b]]furan]

2. Perylene-3,4:9,10-tetracarboxydiimide

3. 2,9-dimethylanthra[2,1,9-def:6,5,10-d'e'f']diisoquinoline-1,3,8,10(2H,9H)-tetrone

4. Amphoteric Fluorinated Surfactant

5. Phenol, styrenated

6. 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8-tridecafluorooctyl methacrylate

7. 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8-tridecafluorooctyl acrylate

8. 1,1'-[ethane-1,2-diylbisoxy]bis[2,4,6-tribromobenzene]

This update brought the number of PACT ARN and hazard assessment substances to 3982.
