Germany AwSV List of published WGK classifications updated

On 6 October 2023, the German Ordinance on Facilities Handling Substances That Are Hazardous to Water (AwSV) List of published water hazard class (WGK) classifications was updated. The following substances were newly assigned a WGK:

1. Carbonic acid, compound with 2-aminoethanol (1:2)

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

2. Reaction products of N-Phenyl-1-Naphthylamine with Nonene, branched

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

3. 1,1-Diphenylethylene

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

4. 1-Bromo-4-(trans-4-propylcyclohexyl)benzene

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)
