Germany AwSV List of published WGK classifications updated

On 15 November 2023, the German Ordinance on Facilities Handling Substances That Are Hazardous to Water (AwSV) List of published water hazard class (WGK) classifications was updated. The following substances were newly assigned a WGK:

1. O-(2-ethylhexyl) O,O-tert-pentyl peroxycarbonate

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

2. 3,4-Difluor-4-(4-trans-propylcyclohexyl)-[1,1-biphenyl]

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

3. Dec-1-ene, trimers, hydrogenated

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

4. Reaction product of ammonium molybdate and C12-C24-diethoxylated alkylamines (1:5-1:3)

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

5. 14H-Benz[4,5]isoquino[2,1-a]perimidin-14-one

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

6. 1,4-Bis[(2,6-diethyl-4-methylphenyl)amino]-9,10-anthracenedione

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

7. N-[(1S,2S,3R)-2,3-Dihydroxy-1-(hydroxymethyl)heptadecyl]-Octadecanamide

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

8. N-[(1S,2S,3R)-2,3-Dihydroxy-1-(hydroxymethyl)heptadecyl]-2-hydroxybenzamide

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)
