Draft 12th recommendation for Authorisation List inclusion

On 7 February 2024, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) launched a public consultation on its draft 12th recommendation for 5 new substances to be prioritised from the Candidate List for the Authorisation List.

ECHA plans to recommend adding the following substances to the Authorisation List:

1. Bis(2-ethylhexyl) tetrabromophthalate covering any of the individual isomers and/or combinations thereof

2. Barium diboron tetraoxide

3. Diphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide

4. S-(tricyclo(5.2.1.0'2,6)deca-3-en-8(or 9)-yl O-(isopropyl or isobutyl or 2-ethylhexyl) O-(isopropyl or isobutyl or 2-ethylhexyl) phosphorodithioate

5. Melamine

The deadline for interested parties to submit comments is 7 May 2024.
