CLP Regulation updated

On 11 July 2023, the 20th Adaptation to Technical Progress (ATP) to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP) was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1435 primarily updates the CLP Regulation with recently agreed harmonised classifications. 4 substances (8 CAS numbers) (already classified) had their harmonised classifications updated.

Suppliers must, before 1 February 2025, revise the labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures in line with the new harmonised classifications.
