China Catalogue of Severely Restricted Toxic Chemicals 2023 published

The Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) has announced the release of the Catalogue of Severely Restricted Toxic Chemicals 2023.

The following substances have been added:

  1. DecaBDE

  2. Perfluorooctanoic acid, its salts and related compounds (PFOA)

The following substance was removed:

  1. Hexabromocyclododecane

The HS Codes of the following substance were updated:

  1. Short chain chlorinated paraffins
