Authorisation granted for Chromium trioxide

On 14 May 2024, the European Commission granted an Authorisation for the following substance:

  1. Chromium trioxide

Authorisation number REACH/24/15/0 is held by GEA Westfalia Separator Group GmbH, and approves the use of Chromium trioxide for Chromium trioxide-based functional chrome plating of machine components for centrifugal separator and decanter centrifuges.
