ASEAN Cosmetics Directive Annexes II, III, VI, and VII amended

On 5 June 2023, updates to the Annexes of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Cosmetics Directive were adopted at the 37th ASEAN Cosmetic Committee (ACC) meeting.

17 substances were added to Annex II, part 1.

The following substances were amended in Annex III, part 1:

1. Methyl-N-methylanthranilate

2. Ammonium silver zinc aluminum silicate

The following substance was amended in Annex VI:

1. Sodium N-(hydroxymethyl) glycinate

The following substance was amended in Annex VII:

1. 2-Cyano-3,3-diphenyl acrylic acid, 2-ethylhexyl ester
