Germany AwSV List of published WGK classifications updated

On 22 March 2023, the German Ordinance on Facilities Handling Substances That Are Hazardous to Water (AwSV) List of published water hazard class (WGK) classifications was updated. The following substances were newly assigned a WGK:

1. Reaction products of N6,N6'-hexane-1,6-diylbis[N2,N4-dibutyl-N2,N4,N6-tris(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-yl)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine] and allylbromide, subsequently reacted with ethaneperoxoic acid, hydrogenated

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

2. Hexanedioic acid, polymer with 2-oxiranylmethyl neodecanoate (average molar weight 798 g/mol)

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)
