8 substances notified to the RoI for SVHCs

On 13-16 March 2023, the following substances were notified to the Registry of Intentions for Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs):

1. Hexamethyldisiloxane

2. Octamethyltrisiloxane

3. Decamethyltetrasiloxane

4. Dodecamethylpentasiloxane

5. 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyltrisiloxane

6. 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-[(trimethylsilyl)oxy]trisiloxane

7. Bumetrizole

8. 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenol

This brought the number of Annex XV dossiers expected on 3 August 2023 / 2 August 2024 / 3 February 2025 for new SVHCs to 8.
