ECHA has published 2 new proposals for SVHCs

On 17 February 2023, ECHA published 2 Annex XV dossiers, which were recently submitted by Member States or ECHA to identify potential Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs):

  1. Bis(4-chlorophenyl) sulphone

  2. Diphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide

These substances are now under consultation, which means that interested parties have 45 days to comment. The deadline for commenting is 3 April 2023. The reports and commenting forms can be accessed on ECHA’s website.
