Germany AwSV List of published WGK classifications updated

On 7 November 2022, the German Ordinance on Facilities Handling Substances That Are Hazardous to Water (AwSV) List of published water hazard class (WGK) classifications was updated. The following substances were newly assigned a WGK:

1. Methyl formate

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

2. 1,3-diphenylguanidine

   WGK 3 (highly hazardous to water)

3. 2-chlorobenzaldehyde

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

4. Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate

   WGK 3 (highly hazardous to water)

5. Ethylenebis(oxyethylene) bis[3-(5-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-m-tolyl)propionate]

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

6. 1-Methylpyrrolidine

   WGK 3 (highly hazardous to water)

7. Ruthenium(III)-chloride-hydrate

   WGK 3 (highly hazardous to water)

8. Phosphinic acid, P-[3-(acetyloxy)-3-cyanopropyl]-P-methyl-, butyl ester
