SCIP Database – What is new?

  • Yordas Group Lancaster Environment Centre LA1 4YQ United Kingdom (map)

The SCIP database is a new requirement under the revised EU Waste Framework Directive. All companies placing products on the EU market must notify those containing SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern) to this database from January 2021. With the required data going beyond those of REACH Article 33, the SCIP database is presenting a huge challenge for industry.
