LCA is an internationally recognised tool used to quantify the potential environmental impacts of products (goods and services) throughout their life cycle. By taking a systems perspective, LCA can help businesses understand the environmental footprint of their products by evaluating their performance against a range of environmental indicators, such as climate change, ozone depletion, and marine toxicity. In this webinar, we provide an introductory summary of LCA methods in an easy-to-understand and straightforward format so that attendees can gain insights into how LCA could be used to support their business goals.
This webinar will cover
Introduce LCA and its potential benefits and applications
Provide an overview of the ISO 14040 standard methodology
Discuss methodological challenges commonly encountered when performing an LCA
Give examples of how LCA is increasingly being incorporated into legislation (e.g., EU Ecodesign)
This webinar will benefit
Manufacturers, formulators and others interested in proactively managing their environmental performance
Sustainability professionals, ESG managers and product stewards
Anyone interested in knowing more about life cycle assessment
