Japan: PDSCL Update under Consultation and MITI updates the CSCL PAC List
The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) is consulting on updating substances under the management of the Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Law (PDSCL).

Eurasia-REACH: Russia publishes draft chemicals inventory
A consolidated transitional inventory of chemicals was published on the 16th of June 2020 by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The inventory of chemical substances and mixtures is open for submissions from Russian companies. The inventory informs the Eurasian technical regulation on chemical products also known as “Eurasia-REACH”. EAEU member states will create their own inventories.
Taiwan EPA publishes the Draft Categories and Management of Handling for Toxic Chemical Substance
The draft Regulation was introduced to implement Article 8, 11 and Article 44-4 of Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substance Control Act.
Taiwan EPA publishes the PEC Registration Guidance

On 9th June, Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration published the long awaited Guidance on Standard Registration of Priority Existing Chemical substances (the PEC Guidance). The PEC Guidance regulates the registration of the first batch of 106 priority existing chemical substances (PECs). If the annual tonnage is over 1 tonne/year, the Manufacturer/Importer/Third-party representative of the listed substances needs to complete the registration before the given deadlines (depending on the tonnage and the time of Phase 1 registration).
