Thailand: Hazardous chemicals list

On 11 March, Thailand's Department of Industrial Works (DIW) consulted on the update of the Hazardous chemicals list. The changes are summarised as follows:

  • Chlorpyrifos: change from Type 3 to Type 4;

  • Amphoteric surfactants: change from Type 4 to Type 1;

  • Changes to the use conditions of substances No.60. And No. 477;

  • No.266-269: substances will be added into Annex 4.1 and No.29 will be add into 4.2

  • No519-525: substances will be added into Annex 5.1 (regulated by DIW).
