New KKDIK (Turkey REACH) Implementation

On 23rd December 2017, the KKDIK (Turkish REACH) 3 year pre-registration period will begin. Unlike EU REACH, this will not be followed by a phased tonnage and hazard-based registration period, but a single 3 year period in which all substances manufactured or imported in quantities above 1 tonne per annum will require registration. As with EU REACH, any non-Turkish manufacturer will require an Only Representative to represent them locally. Yordas currently have one Partner in Turkey and are in discussions with another to ensure we have a number of options to support our clients.
