How does your auditing process ensure clients meet regulatory requirements while optimising operational efficiency?

Hayley: Clients can include us from the very beginning from conception to completion of regulatory strategy to compliance for their products. Involving us from the start ensures your product marketability as we can determine changes to your product claims and formulation and how this impacts the regulatory path for your product . Then we can continue to support through regulatory monitoring and stakeholder communication.

Other clients with existing product portfolios can ensure their compliance through auditing. The client can share their product information for us to review and assess to determine product compliance with applicable regulation. This will often involve determining applicable regulation, regulatory status of substances within their formulation and its impact to marketing, then review of the clients information (labels, SDS, regulatory approvals) to determine whether sufficient regulatory approval/ information is available. This allows us to pinpoint any non-compliance or products that require attention and we can work with the client to instil compliance.

Laura: Our auditing process is always tailored to the needs of the client and can take multiple forms. From reviewing product information, to virtual and in-person discussions, we enable clients to select a process that suits their needs. We provide ongoing support, serving as a point of call for any questions that may arise. In doing so, we support our clients in meeting stakeholder demands.

In addition, we can identify high priority issues before they escalate and work with clients to find the most effective solutions for their business, minimising potential disruption to the supply chain. Upon completion of an audit, we provide a concise and actionable summary of suggested actions, in both the present and future. In these reports, we can classify our findings into non-compliances and recommendations, to ensure that clients have a clear and actionable understanding of legal obligations and suggested best practices.

Can you share a success story where your audit services significantly benefited a client's compliance posture or operational effectiveness?

Hayley: A client had a portfolio of 43 products that had been historically looked after by a predecessor and since had not been maintained. Yordas reviewed all the client's product information and determined the regulatory compliance issues. Yordas delivered the strategy for compliance and submitted the required updates/ approvals and renewals for the products the client wanted to continue to market and continue to support and maintain their portfolio.

Laura: During a review of 20 products, we identified the absence of a chemical management system at our client’s site. This brought chemical management, and the importance of regulatory monitoring, to the attention of senior company personnel who were able to identify methods of enhanced data sharing and required company procedures. In addition, our client gained an understanding of upcoming reporting obligations that they would have otherwise been unaware of. This ensured that they could plan for the requirements and inform their supply chain.
