This global conference brings together professionals from the aerospace industry to talk about developments and emerging ideas in engine induction and exhaust system design, testing, and maintenance. Giselle Vincett, VP: North America.
Giselle leads Yordas’ North American operations. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Lancaster University, UK and worked for over a decade in academic research, teaching and writing. She has extensive experience in designing and leading both large and small publicly and privately funded social research. She has strong experience in research and engagement with a variety of organisations, including government, NGOs, and businesses. Her publication record includes popular and policy-based dissemination, along with academic dissemination in a number of disciplines and across multiple media. At Yordas, Giselle leads business development for North America.
Adel Malek, Regulatory Consultant.
In the Yordas Group, Dr. Malek utilizes his clinical and research background to help industry clients address regulatory problems and meet compliance and sustainability needs. He joined Yordas in 2021 as a Consultant after working in the Canadian provincial healthcare system (as a Clinical Microbiologist and Clinical Assistant Professor) and US academic centres (as a Research Scientist) for several years. During his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Dartmouth Medical School and research positions at prestigious institutions in the US, he published 15 peer-reviewed scientific articles with 300+ citations. He has over 15 years of experience executing projects, leading teams, and managing stakeholder relationships. At Yordas, Dr. Malek specializes in analyzing global policy trends & product stewardship for emerging chemical substances of concern. He is also involved in North American business development and knowledge dissemination activities.
Shaimaa Elsharkwai, Regulatory Consultant.
Shaimaa is a pharmacist and with 10+ years experience who studied Regulatory Affairs in Canada. Through her study, she gained experience on different regulations such as medical devices. Shaimaa was also was trained to submit applications to Health Canada of different products. She worked with Shoebox Audiometry, which fortified her knowledge on medical devices. Moving to Yordas, Shaimaa has applied what she learned and gained new skills and knowledge. This includes, monitoring regulations, SCIP submission, preparing metadata for different client, communication with clients.
