In September Yordas will be attending Chemical Reactions: UK Chemicals Conference in Manchester on the 24th of September, 2024. The Conference is a joint initiative by the Chemical Industries Association (CIA) and Steptoe and Ramboll.

The aim of the conference is offer a “deep dive into the evolving landscape of UK chemicals regulation and policy”. The day will start with a session to explore the UK REACH ATRm proposal before progressing to the UK’s current chemical regulation architecture, ending with how to managing divergence “on both sides of the channel” and the Future of UK chemicals regulation.

Sophie Guinard, Managing Consultant - Regulatory will be attending the Conference to represent Yordas Group. Sophie is a Managing Consultant in the Regulatory team with 8+ experience in Regulatory consulting. At Yordas, Sophie has been involved in developing new chemical notification services for emerging/newer REACH-like regulations (such as Turkey REACH, Korea REACH, China MEE Order 12, US TSCA and Canada CEPA. She is PC Lead and Team Leader for Turkey REACH (KKDIK), and "Other Global Notifications" (any country excl. EU, UK, Turkey and S. Korea). Sophie is also an opportunity owner for certain key accounts in UK/Northern Europe.
