On 1 August 2023, the South Korea Toxic Chemical Substances List was updated in accordance with a revision published in the official gazette, adding the following substances to the list:

1. 1,5-Diisocyanatopentane homopolymer, 2-ethyl-1-hexanol-blocked

2. 3,5-Difluorophenol

3. Cobalt manganese nickel oxide

4. 1,1,2-Trichloroethane

5. Isononyl phosphate

6. Tetrahydro-3-methylthiophene 1,1-dioxide

7. 1,1,1-Trifluoro-N-[(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl]methanesulfonamide, cesium salt (1:1)

8. Silica gel reaction products with chromium oxide(CrO3) and ethoxydiethylaluminum

9. 1-Bromo-2-methylbenzene
