The approval periods of 28 active substances under the Plant protection products Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009 have been extended as per Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2592 of 21 November 2023.

The approval of the following active substances under the Plant protection products Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009 has been renewed as per Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2589 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2591, both of 21 November 2023:

1. Aluminium ammonium sulfate (dodecahydrate)

2. Ethephon

The approval of the following active substance under the Plant protection products Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009 has not been renewed as per Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2657 of 6 November 2023:

1. Benthiavalicarb

As a result, these substances have now been updated in the list of approved active substances (the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 540/2011).​
