The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has published a Priority Product regulation under the Safer Consumer Products Regulations (SCPR), effective 1 October 2023. The regulation requires manufacturers of Motor Vehicle Tires which contain the following substance to notify the DTSC within 60 days of the regulation effective date:
