On 17-22 November 2023, the German Ordinance on Facilities Handling Substances That Are Hazardous to Water (AwSV) List of published water hazard class (WGK) classifications was updated. The following substances were newly assigned a WGK:

1. Cumene

   WGK 3 (highly hazardous to water)

2. 12-hydroxystearic acid

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

3. Diethyl fumarate

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

4. Reaction product of D-Glucopyranoside, methyl; esterified with oleic acid, methyl ester

   WGK awg (generally hazardous to water)

5. Reaction products of alcohols, C11-14-iso, C13 rich and phosphorus pentoxide

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

6. 5,5'-dithiodi-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2(3H)-thione

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)

7. 1-Octadecanamine, reaction products with 1,1'-methylenebis[4-isocyanatobenzene]

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

8. 6,6'-diphenylfulvene

   WGK 2 (obviously hazardous to water)
