The Authorisations are held by 4 companies and concern 5 Authorised uses:

1. Authorisation number REACH/23/23/0 is held by Keuco AG & Co. KG, and approves the use of Chromium trioxide in electroplating of different types of substrates to achieve functional surfaces with high durability and a bright or matt silvery appearance for sanitary applications.

2. Authorisation number REACH/23/23/1 is held by Keuco AG & Co. KG, and approves the use of Chromium trioxide in etching of plastics as a pre-treatment step for electroplating processes for sanitary applications.

3. Authorisation number REACH/23/24/0 is held by Schell GmbH & Co. KG Armaturentechnologie, and approves the use of Chromium trioxide in functional chrome plating with decorative character for sanitary applications.

4. Authorisation numbers REACH/23/25/0 and REACH/23/25/1 are held by Eaton S.R.L. and Eaton Automotive Systems sp.zoo respectively, and approve the use if Chromium trioxide in functional chrome plating of engine valves and valve actuation (‘lash adjusters’).
