On 3 February 2023, the German Ordinance on Facilities Handling Substances That Are Hazardous to Water (AwSV) List of published water hazard class (WGK) classifications was updated. The following substances were newly assigned a WGK:

1. Formaldehyde, polymer with 2-propanone, bisulfited, monoethers with 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid, sodium salts (average MW 30000 g/mol)

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

2. Octadecanoic acid, 12-hydroxy-, reaction products with ethylenediamine

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

3. Octadecanoic acid, 12-hydroxy-, reaction products with decanoic acid and ethylenediamine

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

4. Phosphonic acid, (4-morpholinylmethylene)bis-, tetraethyl ester

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

5. Reaction mass of Propylidynetrimethanol and 3-Hydroxypivalic acid with polymeric Hexamethylene diisocyanate and polymeric 3-Isocyanatomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexyl isocyanate, blocked with 3,5-Dimethylpyrazole, compound with 2-Dimethylaminoethanol (average MW 6700 g/mol)

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

6. Reaction mass of polymeric 4,4'-Methylenediphenyl diisocyanate, a Polymer with Phthalic anhydride and 2,2'-Oxydiethanol, halogenated Polyetherpolyol and Glycerol, propoxylated (average MW 1160 g/mol)

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

7. Octanol, ethoxylated, carboxymethylated, compound with Triethanolamine, EO 8

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

8. Oleic acid, ethoxylated, carboxymethylated, compound with Triethanolamine, EO 9

   WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)
